Primula veris (Primulaceae)
Primula veris (Primulaceae) is a perennial flowering plant. It is herbaceous. It belongs to primrose family Primulaceae. The species is native throughout most of temperate Western Asia and Europe.
Perhaps one of the most artsy pictures I have ever taken, this shows a Primula veris (Primulaceae) at the Zurich Botanic Gardens, taken in 2009. I was at that time involved in pollination experiments on the species.
